Welcome to JT Auto Rental. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of car rental services provided by JT Auto Rental ("we", "our", or "Company").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility Requirements

• You must be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a valid driver's license (minimum 2 years experience)
• Provide a valid National ID or passport
• Possess a valid payment method
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Rental Policy

Booking & Reservations

• Confirmation: All bookings are subject to email confirmation
• Vehicle Availability: We reserve the right to substitute with a similar class
• Minimum Rental: 24 hours minimum rental period
• Late Returns: Additional charges per hour for late returns

Pickup & Return

Vehicle Condition

At pickup, you must:

• Inspect vehicle condition and document any damages
• Verify fuel level
• Record mileage
• Sign inspection form

3. Payment Terms

Rental Fees

• Base Rental: Daily/weekly/monthly rates based on selected vehicle
• Security Deposit: ৳5,000-৳20,000 (based on vehicle class)
• Extra Mileage: ৳10 per km beyond included limit
• Fuel Policy: Full-to-full (return at same level)
• Driver Service: ৳1,000/day (optional)

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
• Mobile Banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket)
• Bank Transfer
• Cash (office pickup only)

Billing & Invoices

• Invoices emailed after payment confirmation
• All prices in BDT and include 15% VAT
• Additional charges processed after return

4. Insurance & Coverage

Basic Insurance

Included in all rentals:

• Third-Party Liability: Coverage for others in accidents
• Theft Protection: Coverage against vehicle theft
• Fire Damage: Protection from fire damage

Additional Insurance Options

Insurance Exclusions

• Driving under influence of drugs/alcohol
• Illegal activities
• Unauthorized drivers
• Intentional damage or negligence
• Off-road use or racing

5. Liability & Responsibilities

Renter's Responsibilities

As the renter, you are responsible for:

• Complying with all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining vehicle in reasonable care
• All fines, tolls, and parking fees
• Reporting accidents immediately
• Returning vehicle within rental period
• Following non-smoking and no-pets policy

Damage & Loss

Renter is liable for:

• All damage repair costs (up to insurance deductible)
• Lost keys or documents (replacement fees)
• Interior cleaning (if excessively dirty)
• Loss of use during repair period

Prohibited Uses

• Subletting vehicle or using for Uber/Pathao
• Using for illegal activities
• Taking vehicle outside the country
• Racing or competitive events
• Exceeding maximum passenger limit

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Terms

Modification Policy

• Date changes: Free up to 24 hours before pickup
• Vehicle changes: Subject to availability, price difference applies
• Duration shortening: Not refundable after start

Refund Process

• Refunds processed to original payment method
• Processing time: 5-10 business days
• Disputed charges subject to review

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to:

• Natural disasters (cyclones, floods, earthquakes)
• War, terrorism, civil unrest
• Pandemics or government restrictions
• Strikes, lockouts, labor disputes

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will:

• First be attempted to resolve through friendly negotiation
• If unresolved, through mediation
• Ultimately subject to jurisdiction of courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
